Delonte "LONNIE " Harrell
Founder/Director of Team Prime Sports
All Kidz Matter Inc., Board Member

“Lonnie is a big time player, unstoppable and does what he wants on the court.” -George Gervin

A leader known for his superb shooting and overall ability on the floor, Professional basketball player and former member of the And 1 Mixtape Tour, Lonnie Harrell, has broken both college and professional records, thereby etching his name into sports history books.  The Washington, D.C. native attended Eastern High School and was a letterman in track & field, basketball and tennis.  He was the DCIAA champion in track & field for the high jump with an impressive jump of 6’4”.

Harrell then attended Georgetown University, where he was a teammate to Alonzo Mourning and played under Coach John Thompson winning the Big-East Championship and making it to the NCAA “Sweet 16.”  The Psychology/ Sociology major finished his college career at Northeastern University breaking and sharing records with the great late Reggie Lewis. Lonnie’s strong performance at Northeastern found him a spot on the 1996 Orlando Magic’s roster to team up with Penny Hardaway, Dennis Scott, Horace Grant and Nick Anderson on a great NBA franchise. (Injury shortened the 1st attempt) It’s of little surprise, that Lonnie continued his journey to land on an NBA team by being invited by the New Jersey Nets to their veterans’ camp years later.

It is no secret that Lonnie is very personable in addition to his incredible skill level. Darrell Dawkins, former NBA player and USBL coach (RIP) stated that he“…can play multiple positions… people are fooled by his size and don’t realize his strength until they play against him!” and Bryon Scott, former New Jersey Nets Coach commented that “he has versatility and shoots the ball better than I’ve seen in years.” Bottom line! Lonnie is a force to be reckoned with! His years of experience in the basketball circuit have provided the opportunity for him to be on NBA rosters.

Continuing his career as an active "Streetball Legend," Lonnie (aka Prime Objective) is a former player and spokesmen of the And1 Mixtape Tour. His And1 Mixtape Tour fame has resulted into Lonnie becoming a major key in networking and creating what he calls "Intellectual Propriety."  He has received sponsorships and partnerships with Boost Mobile, Mountain Dew, Black Label, Under Armour and New Balance to name a few. His streetball fame stretches all the way back to New York’s Rucker Park Tournaments. That exposure and opportunity has helped him become a household name off the court by assisting him in branding his name "Prime Objective." Since then he has been featured in films, commercials, hosting events and traveled the world for numerous events. Basketball has also fielded him relationships with Jay z, Irv Gotti, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Magic Johnson, Kevin Hart and others.

“Every time I look at my bench, I think how much better Harrell is then my teammates.” -Allen Iverson

“He should be in the league, he’s better than me!”- Ray Allen

“Lonnie is a bad dude, can’t nobody stop him from doing nothing but him”-Darryl Dawkins

The streetball circuit created a huge audience for Lonnie. One of the first journeymen on the streetball circuit, Lonnie (L-Train known by Washingtonians) has traveled throughout the United States. From DC, to NY, LA, Philadelphia, and Atlanta to prove that he was the best basketball player in the streets. No other streetball player has stamped the game of streetball like Lonnie. He has become a trend setter indeed! Very familiar to the likes of Jermaine Dupree, Jay Z, Robin Thicke, Prime’s legend is known throughout the country and internationally. His journey has made him one of today’s biggest socialites throughout the country from Miami to London, England.

Today Lonnie or “Prime Objective or @PrimeWorldOrder” as he is known to fans is a big part of our community. He uses his basketball fame to give back to inner city youth and charities around the world because he believes strongly in making a difference in the community. He started Team Prime Basketball Organization in the Washington DC and surrounding areas, to take advantage of the opportunities  for inner city youths to recieve a higher education using basketball. His new project, "ConKrete Playground," will bring a whole new dynamic and perspective to help our youth achieve their goals in 2020.
